Calvary United Methodist Church

Let anyone who is thirsty come

Calvary UMC is being adopted by Dexter UMC and will begin transitioning to a new Methodist faith community this summer. The building will be closed for renovations for 18-24 months.

Join us as we celebrate the rich history of faithful servants sharing God’s love in our community at Calvary United Methodist Church for over 60 years! While we may not be able to worship together in our sanctuary at this time, we are planning an outdoor service and lunch (with proper distancing) on Sunday June 14. In addition we are working on a way to participate online.

About

Open doors that welcome all

The United Methodist Church has many doors through which people share in serving God and others. Whether you visit in person or via the Internet, we hope you discover something here to encourage you in your spiritual journey. At Calvary, we are a community of people with different beliefs, backgrounds, and cultures, who celebrate that diversity as we love each other and share the love of Christ with the world. We welcome all!

Our Pastor

Mary Loring

Mary began serving Calvary UMC on July 1. She has served most recently at Jackson's Calvary and First UMC. Her husband, Mark, is the director of music and arts at Chelsea UMC. Mary says, "I am a deeply devoted and passionate follower of Christ and understand my mission to help others to deepen their own faith and to become leaders for Christ in the transformation of the world. I look forward to listening to Ann Arbor Calvary's heart and seeing where God will take us. This truly is the Great Adventure!"
